We are the controller for the data processed through this website, within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

If you e-mail us

Your name, e-mail address and the content of your message. We use them solely to answer your question and, if a collaboration follows, to perform that agreement. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request and our legitimate interest in responding. Retention: as long as the correspondence is relevant, at most three years after the last contact, unless an agreement requires a longer statutory retention period.

Technical data during a visit

The website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel briefly logs technical data (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) to deliver and secure the site. We do not use that data to identify you. Legal basis: legitimate interest (operation and security).

Microsoft Clarity — only with your consent

To understand how visitors use the site (where they click and scroll, where they drop off), we use Microsoft Clarity. Clarity makes anonymised session recordings and heatmaps and sets cookies to do so. This happens only after you click “Accept” in the consent bar. If you choose “No thanks”, Clarity is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Microsoft processes this data as a processor; more information is in Microsoft’s privacy statement. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Fonts

Fonts are loaded via Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address in order to deliver the font file. No cookies are set for this.

What we don’t do

No ad networks, no selling or passing data to third parties for marketing, no profiling, no accounts or forms that ask for more than necessary.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to withdraw consent you have given. Send an e-mail to hello@smartsoftwaresolutions.be; we reply within thirty days.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels).
